Signs of Good Life on Planet Earth

Summer ends, but is our planet still in its spring?

We’ve had a good summer. All summers are good, as far as I'm concerned, especially in Long Beach, NY.

Summer still had the background of world horrors going on: Bombs, rockets, drone attacks, killing families by the thousands.

Yes, there is much room for growth in world affairs, but we are moving in the right direction toward a better tomorrow.

Many of you may think otherwise.

I’m an optimist, and I think life's "little things" tend to move us in the right direction.

I reviewed our Long Beach summer and captured many fun-filled, little-thing moments.

My essay has many varied photo captures, but most are about families bonding and having fun on our Long Beach sands.

These moments happen all over our planet; we take them for granted. But within these tiny moments are the nucleus of hope.

Love, laughter, and joy are contagious.

Do you think it’s more likely that these bonding families will nurture a better tomorrow?

I do.

Be well,
