Sunken Boat Gets Pulled From Water Off Long Beach
Three beaches are expected to reopen Saturday morning, the city of Long Beach said.

LONG BEACH, NY —The sunken boat off the waters of Long Beach Boulevard has been removed, the city of Long Beach posted on its website.
The boat, which hit a jetty on Tuesday, dropped below the water's surface after the lone passenger was evacuated.
City employees with help from a professional marine salvage company dislodged the boat on Thursday.

Beaches at Monroe, Long Beach and Riverside boulevards will remain closed for cleaning debris, but they are expected to reopen Saturday, the city wrote.
