These Others, Their Love, Their Laughter
Some moments seem fated to be, as if the universe had plans of its own.

You might recall a recurring theme of mine that as you trek our shore and boards you reach out to an—other. Others can be so interesting that you may enrich each—other's—lives.
I found a man who reached across the sea to find an other:
There was once a photographer who visited the big Apple one long-gone day. He took a moment to stop and take a photo of an artist painting a canvas; she lives in Long Beach, he in Sweden.

Over the years since, he wondered who she was, where she was.
So he posted the photo he took of her on Facebook. And there began an odyssey from across the seas.

An alert American photographer spotted the Facebook photo, recognized the artist, and solicited help from a diligent filmmaker he knew.
Her investigation resulted in a televised meeting of the principals in this reunion of like souls. A meeting that made them happy, me delighted, and heartened my hope for our future.
