WATCH: House Being Raised Starts To Lean, Firefighters Work To Stabilize It

BREAKING: The unstable building caused the road to be closed for nearly four hours.

Park Avenue in Long Beach was closed for nearly four hours on Thursday as firefighters worked to stabilize a building that was being raised.

The three-story home was still being constructed when the structure started to lean, bringing it close to falling onto the neighboring home. Firefighters shut down West Park Avenue between California Street and New York Avenue at 1 p.m. Thursday to work on the building.

No one was injured.
