This Week In Long Beach: Substance Possession, Identity Theft, Police Say

LONG BEACH, NY. — The Long Beach Police Department released its weekly arrest report Wednesday, detailing six arrests made between Jan. 21 and Jan. 28. The items listed are as follows:

On Jan. 21, Long Beach police arrested a 51-year-old Long Beach resident on charges of grand larceny using a credit card, identity theft to obtain goods and unlawful possession of a credit card, police said.

On Jan. 22, Long Beach police arrested a 33-year-old Long Beach woman in execution of an open arrest warrant, police said.

On Jan. 22, Long Beach police arrested a 29-year-old Bellmore man, who now faces a seventh-degree charge of criminal possession of a controlled substance, a misdemeanor, police said.

On Jan. 23, Long Beach police arrested a 43-year-old Long Beach woman who now faces two counts of seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, a second-degree count of aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, a third-degree count of the same charge, and a motor vehicle violation for no license, police said.

On Jan. 24, Long Beach police arrested a 61-year-old Island Park man for petit larceny, police said.

On Jan. 27, Long Beach police arrested a 36-year-old Long Beach woman who now faces a charge of aggravated unlicensed operation of a vehicle and multiple vehicle violations, police said.
