Winning Logo Revealed For Long Beach Centennial
Christina Salierno's design was selected and it will appear on various posters in Long Beach.

LONG BEACH, NY — In celebration of the Long Beach centennial, the city has found its new 100th-anniversary logo. More than 30 submissions were sent in for the logo design contest.
But, it was Christina Salierno who was recognized for her winning image.
The Long Beach High School graduate's logo will be decked out on posters, advertising, media, pins and even some clothing merchandise to commemorate a century, the city said.

The Chamber of Commerce supplied Salierno with her prize.
Long Beach's centennial celebration takes place June 4 and 5.
