Woman's Body Found On The Sand In Long Beach

The body of a middle-aged woman was found on the sand in Long Beach Friday morning, and police are now investigating her death.

According to Long Beach police, a jogger called the police at 5:23 a.m. and reported a body on the beach between Monroe Boulevard and Lincoln Boulevard. Police arrived and found the body of a woman who seemed to be between 40 and 50 years old. The woman was wearing only her underwear.

The woman was pronounced dead at the scene by the Long Beach Fire Department paramedics. Police are investigating the death.
