Wrong-Way Drunk Driver Arrested: Long Beach Police

The Long Beach Police Department reported the following arrests for the week ending March 25.

• Jose A. Mencia, 43, of Valley Stream, was arrested on March 20 on West Park Avenue and charged with driving with a suspended license, no license, violating a traffic device and equipment violation -- broken glass.
• Brian M. Shimer, 31, of Long Beach, was arrested on March 21 on Georgia Avenue and charged with DWI.
• Craig J. Hayes, 28, of Huntington Station, was arrested on March 23 on West Beech and charged with DWI.
• Jeffrey Hatcher, 45, of Brooklyn, was arrested on March 23 on Long Beach Boulevard and charged with driving with impaired by drugs and unlawful possession of marijuana.
• Fiona M. Mcauliffe, 39, of Long Beach, was arrested on March 23 on West Park Avenue and charged with driving with a suspended license, unregistered vehicle, no license, no insurance, improper plates and no seatbelt.
• Marcus A. Brown, 49, of Long Beach, was arrested on March 24 on East Market Street and charged with driving with a suspended license and inadequate lights.
• Carmelo F. Guercio, 40, of Island Park, was arrested on March 24 on West Park Avenue and charged with driving with a suspended license and an active Long Beach City Court arrest warrant.
• Donna M. Fabrizio, 30, of Long Beach, was arrested on March 24 on Riverside Boulevard and charged with DWI with a previous conviction, driving with a revoked license and circumventing an interlock device.
• Teanna Z. Lewis, 25, of Rockville Centre, was arrested on March 24 on West Bay Drive and charged with driving with a revoked license, DWI, unlicensed operator, speeding, illegal signaling, driving in the wrong direction and violating a traffic device.
