You Can Really Give This Christmas At the Long Beach Blood Drive
Your donation at this special winter blood drive could help save up to three lives.
If you really want to make a difference and give to those in need this Christmas, consider making a blood donation at the City of Long Beach's latest blood drive.
The city will be holding a blood drive on Thursday, Dec. 26 at the Long Beach Ice Arena, located at 150 West Bay Drive, from 2 to 8 p.m.
Anyone between the ages of 16 and 75, in good health and weighing at least 110 pounds can donate. Donors should eat before donating and bring a photo ID with them. Those who are 16 can donate with parental consent. The consent form can be found at www.nybloodcenter.org, and will also be available at the blood drive.
