$1 Million Powerball Winning Ticket Sold On Long Island

Big winner sold on Long Island.

A person who bought a Powerball ticket in Nassau County was just a number away from winning a $348 million Powerball jackpot on Wednesday night, but he or she will still take home a cool $1 million (that is before Uncle Sam gets his cut).

There were three second-prize winning tickets sold for Wednesday's drawing, including a Quick Pick ticket sold at In & Out Market located at 4002 Jerusalem Ave. in Seaford, the New York Lottery announced Thursday morning.

The winning numbers for Wednesday's drawing were: 6-13-19-36-51 and Powerball No. 18. The jackpot for Saturday night's drawing is up to $385 million.
