Arrest Made In Knifepoint Robbery At Nassau Pharmacy
BREAKING: A 23-year-old man is charged with first degree robbery, police say.

GARDEN CITY PARK, NY - A 23-year-old man has been charged in a knifepoint robbery at a Garden City Park pharmacy last month.
Kevin Arenas, of West Hempstead, surrendered to police on Tuesday and was charged with first degree robbery, Nassau Police said.
According to police, on the morning of July 5, Arenas entered entered Twin Parks Pharmacy located at 2226 Jericho Turnpike, approached the pharmacist, and demanded OxyContin, a painkiller.

The pharmacist complied and Arenas fled the scene with an undetermined number of pills, police said. No injuries were reported.
Arenas will be arraigned in First District Court in Hempstead Wednesday.
