Brooklyn Man Arrested After $24K Theft Spree At Major Retailer In Nassau: Police
NCPD says the man targeted multiple locations of the home improvement store before being taken into custody.
NASSAU COUNTY, NY — A Brooklyn man was arrested after he was accused of stealing tens of thousands of dollars' worth of items from Home Depot locations across Nassau County, police said.
Nassau County police said Tony Curtis, 64, entered multiple Home Depots on Aug. 30, selected items totaling approximately $24,970.15, and exited without paying.
Curtis was arrested after an investigation and was charged with third-degree grand larceny, NCPD said. He was arraigned on April 11 at First District Court in Hempstead, police said.
