De-mystifying Landscape Painting: Learn a clear process for both plein air & studio landscapes
This artist workshop led by Megan Euell aims to provide participants with a clear and structured approach to creating beautiful landscape paintings in a studio setting.
Workshop Highlights:
• Demo and personal instruction: Euell will explain and demonstrate the process she has used for over 15+ years, both through lecture and examples of her paintings. Participants will each work on one painting during the workshop, with individual critiques through out.
• Outdoor Inspiration: The workshop will utilize a reference image provided by Euell -allowing artists to best understand the demonstration of the same imagery and connect with nature indoors through observation of value, color and atmosphere.
• Skill Building: Focus on fundamental skills such as compositional drawing and design, color theory, and ultimately brushwork- all essential for successful landscape painting.
• Creative Interpretation: Teaching artists to not just replicate but interpret landscapes, emphasizing personal style and expression.
• Supportive Environment: Each session fosters an encouraging atmosphere for sharing ideas, techniques, and feedback, enhancing the learning experience.
