An idealistic young King Arthur hopes to create a kingdom built on honor and dignity, embodied by his Knights of The Round Table. His Ideals, however are tested when his lovely queen, Guenevere, falls in love with the young Knight, Lancelot and the fate of the kingdom hangs in the balance. Featuring the classic songs “If Ever I Would Leave You,” “I Loved You Once In Silence,” “The Lusty Month of May,” and of course “Camelot.”

Moshe’s Kosher Falafel Truck at Belmont Park Village 

To celebrate Asian American and Pacific Islander (AAPI) Heritage Month, the Great Neck Library is hosting a special screening of the documentary Photographic Justice: The Corky Lee Story. This 87-minute film chronicles the 50-year quest of photographer Corky Lee to document Asian American history and activism.

Corky Lee didn’t just take pictures; he fought for visibility. Armed with his camera as a "weapon against injustice," the legendary Chinese American photographer spent decades documenting the Asian American experience. This intimate film explores the life of a man whose art became his activism, capturing the triumphs, tragedies, and unforgettable images that empowered generations.

After the film, Jennifer Takaki (Director), George Hirose (Executive Producer), and Linda Lew Woo (Producer) will hold a Q&amp;A discussion.

The movie screening will be at the Great Neck Library, 159 Bayview Avenue, Great Neck, on Sunday May 17, at 2:00 p.m. Registration is open to all. TAKE 2 features Candice Baranello and James O’Malley, two talented artists who have each been part of the acoustic music scene for a number of years. 
Candice Baranello is a founding member of the acclaimed traditional folk trio, the Mountain Maidens, and is known for her powerful, expressive voice. She plays multiple instruments including the ukulele, banjo, guitar, and dulcimer.
James O'Malley is a singer-songwriter whose music has been played on radio stations across the country. He has a smooth tenor voice and a subtle, intricate guitar style, having learned fingerpicking early in his career from Erik Darling of The Weavers.
