Schedule:
7:30 AM – 8:15 AM limited race-day pickup
8:30 AM – Fun Run (1/2 mile, untimed)
9:15 AM – 5K Run/Walk
Location: John J Burns Park, 4990 Merrick Road, Massapequa, NY 11762.
Notes: Rain or shine. Strollers permitted; dogs not permitted (per Town of Oyster Bay laws). Post-race refreshments listed include bagels & bananas. Proceeds/support noted for John Theissen Children's Foundation and Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.
Funds will go to both organizations. Help support the John Theissen Children's Foundation, Help support the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. LLS's continued advancements over the years, are responsible for the blood cancer survival rate doubling and tripling; in some cases, the survival rate has even quadrupled. All proceeds will be donated to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. We really are changing the face of blood cancer!
