Arson Squad Detectives Probing Holtsville Home Fire: Police

UPDATE: All of the residents were able to escape to safety, Suffolk police say.

RONKONKOMA, NY — Arson Squad detectives are investigating a fire that broke out at a home in Holtsville late Tuesday night, Suffolk police said.

The fire started at the Avenue C home just before 11 p.m., and all of the residents were able to escape to safety, according to police.

No injuries were reported.

It took firefighters from 10 departments to get the fire under control in about a half an hour, officials told News 12.
