Grant for Suffolk County Businesses Trellus Delivery Grant to Support Local Small Businesses

Suffolk County, New York โ€” The Suffolk County Delivery Grant was granted through funds from the American Rescue Grant and provides a grant in the amount of $2500.00 to eligible businesses located in Suffolk County. This grant initiative designed to help small businesses strengthen their delivery capabilities and expand their marketing reach in an increasingly digital marketplace, and stimulate economic activity in Suffolk County.

The grant program will provide eligible Suffolk County businesses with financial assistance to offset costs associated with delivery services. County officials say the initiative is aimed at helping local businesses remain competitive while meeting evolving consumer expectations.

โ€œSmall businesses are the backbone of Suffolk Countyโ€™s economy,โ€ said chamber of commerce officials said in a statement. โ€œThis grant is about giving them practical tools to grow, reach more customers, and thrive in todayโ€™s market.โ€

The Trellus Delivery and Marketing Grant are open to qualifying small businesses operating within Suffolk County. Funds may be used for expenses including delivery expenses.

Local business advocates say the program arrives at a critical time, as many small businesses continue to adapt to changes in consumer behavior and increased competition from national retailers and online platforms.

โ€œPrograms like this help level the playing field,โ€ said a local business owner familiar with the initiative. โ€œAccess to delivery resources can make a real difference for small, community-based businesses.โ€
