LONG ISLAND, NY — After years of attending wedding expos, networking events, and vendor showcases across Long Island, the team behind 495 FM and Long Island News Network noticed a challenge many event professionals continue to face: visibility often disappears once the event is over.

That realization helped inspire the launch of BOOKED, a new Vendor Visibility Network designed to help event professionals stay visible year-round through radio, podcasts, livestreams, interviews, social media promotion, and ongoing digital exposure.

Unlike traditional directories that simply list businesses, BOOKED was created to help vendors continuously showcase who they are, what they do, and why consumers should remember them long after an event or expo ends.

“Wedding shows and expos absolutely create valuable opportunities for vendors and consumers to connect face-to-face,” said Carl Meyers, Station Manager for 495 FM and Long Island News Network. “But what really stood out to us was the need for ongoing visibility after the event itself. BOOKED was created to continue that momentum and help businesses stay in front of people consistently throughout the year.”

BOOKED Events focuses on connecting consumers with trusted vendors for weddings, Sweet 16s, private parties, corporate events, and celebrations while giving vendors access to year-round promotional opportunities across multiple digital platforms.

The network plans to feature:

  • Vendor spotlight interviews
  • Livestream showcases
  • Radio shows and podcasts
  • Social media promotion
  • “After the Show” video features
  • Vendor profile pages
  • On-demand digital content distribution

Programming and content will be distributed across platforms including Spotify, iHeartRadio, YouTube, Facebook Live, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, X, and other major digital outlets.

According to Meyers, the goal behind BOOKED is simple: helping local businesses remain visible in a competitive marketplace while making it easier for consumers to discover trusted professionals for important life events.

“Consumers today are overwhelmed with choices online,” Meyers explained. “BOOKED is about helping people connect with real businesses, real personalities, and real professionals who are passionate about what they do. At the same time, we’re helping vendors create consistent exposure that doesn’t disappear after one event.”

As part of the Long Island launch, BOOKED is currently accepting a limited number of Founding Vendors at introductory pricing while the platform continues to expand its media presence and vendor network.

The platform’s mission centers around one core philosophy: Making Business Happen.

“Visibility matters,” Meyers said. “The businesses that stay visible are the businesses people remember. BOOKED was built to help vendors continue telling their story long after the event is over.”
