Man Robs Long Island Bank

He displayed a note and verbally demanded cash Wednesday morning, police say.

PATCHOGUE, NY – Police are searching for a man who robbed a Patchogue bank Wednesday morning.

According to police, the man entered Bethpage Federal Credit Union located at 272 East Main St. at about 11:45 a.m., displayed a note and verbally demanded cash. The teller complied and gave the man cash from the drawer. The robber then fled on foot.

The robber was described as black, approximately 30-years-old, 5-foot-10 with a thin build. He was wearing a long-sleeved black and white shirt, red pants, sneakers, a baseball cap and sunglasses.
