McBride welcomes labor movement leader Onika Shepherd as VP of Partnerships & Institutional Strategy
With the arrival of Shepherd, McBride adds yet another seasoned expert to its ranks
McBride Consulting and Business Development Group’s already impressive roster of industry experts continues to expand as Onika Shepherd joins the firm as their Vice President of Partnerships and Institutional Strategy. A part of the leadership for 1199SEIU United Healthcare Workers East for over twenty years, Onika most recently served seven years as the organization’s Political Director.

Onika’s involvement with other affiliations such as the Long Island Federation of Labor, a board member for Nassau County Living Wage, a Board of Advisors member at Hofstra University’s Center for the Study of Labor and Democracy, and Executive Board member for organizations such as Advancing Local Leadership for Women and Long Island Jobs with Justice, exemplifies her commitment to labor rights and equity.
