Options' Launches New Program
Options Launches New Home & Community Based Services Program for Adult Medicaid Beneficiaries Who Are Enrolled in a Health & Recovery Plan

Options for Community Living, Inc. (Options) has launched a new personalized Home and Community Based Services (HCBS) program designed to help individuals recovering from mental illness and/or addiction improve their health and to achieve their goals. These services are available to adult Medicaid beneficiaries who are enrolled in a Health and Recovery Plan (HARP).
Options’ Home and Community Based Services (HCBS) program provides the following services:
●Habilitation Services help individuals learn skills needed for independent community living. This may include help with self-care practices, time and money management, use of community resources, cooking, shopping as well as other tasks.

●Psychosocial Rehabilitation Services focus on restoring basic skills that have been lost over time. Skill building will concentrate on health and wellness, financial management, social interaction and community relations.
●Peer Support Services are administered by a peer specialist who provides guidance, empowerment and support to enrolled individuals through shared personal experiences.

●Pre-vocational Employment Services help prepare people for employment or volunteer opportunities. Skill development can include effective communication strategies, punctuality, time management as well as other non-job specific tasks.
●Education Support Services provide individuals with the support needed to return to school or to receive employment training.
●Family Support and Training services are designed to help train and instruct the enrolled individuals’ family members how best to support their loved ones recovery efforts.
