Suffolk County Clerk Election 2026: Live Results

SUFFOLK COUNTY, NY — Incumbent Republican County Clerk Vincent Puleo faced off against two write-in challengers, Christian Padgett, a Libertarian, and Abigail Field, a Democrat, on Tuesday.

The role of clerk oversees the county's important documents, such as records, property deeds, and other files.

Puleo was first elected in 2022.

As of 10 p.m., Puleo was leading with 86 percent, while there were 12.85 percent of write-in votes, according to the Suffolk County Board of Elections.
