Man Demands $3,000 From Bank Teller in Chinatown: NYPD

Police are trying to identify a man who they believe robbed a Chase Bank in Chinatown on Dec. 28.

CHINATOWN, NY — Police are trying to identify a man who they believe robbed a Chase Bank in Chinatown on Dec. 28.

At about 12:46 a.m., the man (pictured above) entered the Chase Bank at 180 Canal St. and passed a note to the teller demanding cash, police said. The man took $3,000 and fled the bank, police told Patch.

Police described the suspect as a Hispanic male, standing 5-foot-ten and weighing approximately 180 pounds.
