Man Hit by Car on the Lower East Side Monday, Suffers Head Injuries: NYPD
A 62-year-old man suffered serious head injuries after he was hit by an Escalade SUV Monday morning, police said.

LOWER EAST SIDE, NY — A 62-year-old man suffered serious head injuries after he was hit by an Escalade SUV while crossing a street on the Lower East Side Monday morning, police said.
The man was crossing the intersection at Allen and Grand streets at around 6:30 a.m. when he was hit, police said. The man was brought to Bellevue Hospital.
The driver remained on the scene and wasn't immediately arrested or ticketed, police said.
