• One motorcyclist dead, another seriously injured in Cayuga County crash (democratandchronicle.com) — Two motorcyclists from Lyons were badly hurt when their bikes collided with an SUV at Route 31 and Centerport Road in Mentz on Sunday; 35-year-old Branden Paradise later died at Upstate University Hospital, while 36-year-old Matthew Hockenbruckner remains hospitalized. State Police say the Auburn driver who entered the intersection after a stop sign is cooperating, and alcohol and drugs are not suspected.
