Recently, Assemblyman Brian Curran (Lynbrook-21st A.D.) dropped the ceremonial first puck to kick-off the 38th season for the Lynbrook Roller Hockey League. The game was played between the Sharks and the Black Hawks.
“I was honored to be asked to drop the ceremonial first puck for the LRHL to start their 38th season,” said Curran. “Youth sports are such a large part of the culture down here on Long Island, and I am truly grateful that we have such wonderful youth sports leagues as well as many other outlets for children to keep them away from drugs, alcohol and other dangerous substances.”
