To be honest, I won't be traveling any farther than Lynbrook this Weekend, I will be staying home, drinking wine, having a couple of people over and relaxing with friends and family, no big trips for us! But that doesn't mean you shouldn't venture out to one of my top picks!
Lynbrook, Memorial Day/Patriot's Weekend Celebration at Greis Park. Opening ceremony starts at 3 p.m. Throughout the day there will be various activities such as inflatable’s and a science exhibit for kids, a magic show, a softball game, and live entertainment. Fireworks will be at 8:45pm. The Lynbrook pool will be open to ALL Lynbrook Village residents (with or without a membership) on this day from 3-7:30 with I.D. and proof of residency.

Last but not least this Saturday and Sunday is The Annual Bethpage Air Show at Jones Beach State Park. Watch from as exciting aircrafts soar through the sky. Suggested to get there VERY EARLY to avoid crowds and traffic, and it is also suggested you bring ear plugs to block out the noisy airplanes.
