Spotted - Biggest Name in Hollywood Staying in NYC

For the past two weeks one of the biggest names in Hollywood, Kim Kardashian, has been staying a few blocks away from my school, at the exclusive Gansevoort Hotel while filming her reality T.V. show.

Wouldn’t it be interesting if I got to see her?

One day I walked by the hotel, which is located on 29th and Park Avenue, and I knew I was in the right place when I saw all the paparazzi by the doors ready to get a picture of Kim.

You can call it good timing. I was just waiting outside for a couple of minutes and I saw a black SUV pull up getting ready to pick her up. All of a sudden the lights were flashing and out came Kim smiling and saying Hi” to the people outside the hotel, and then went into the SUV.

After everything calmed down I sat down and spoke with one of the paparazzo to see what it is like to be in that kind of business.

He explained that some nights he had stayed at the hotel till 3 o’clock in the morning just to get a picture. He also told me some of the other celebrities that have stayed at the hotel recently, including singer Rhianna.

You can definitely call that dedicated to your job.

Another person I talked to explained that they do this because of the adrenaline rush they get when they try to get a picture.

Since there were a lot of people around the hotel when I saw Kim Kardashian I couldn’t take a clear picture, but the one paparazzo I spoke with gave me a picture he took of Kim, her sister, and husband on their way to the wedding rehearsal in the city.
