"Confections for Comfort" Charity event

Chemo Comfort challenged bakeries to help us celebrate the sweet victory of cancer survivorship for one week, beginning National Cancer Survivor Day, June 1. Six bakeries are participating in "Confections for Comfort"
with sweet treat, which will be on sale June 1-8. 2014. The proceeds
will go to the non-profit. Establishments in New York City, Long Island,
Westchester and New Jersey will be participating in this second annual
event, by creating signature confections for their patrons, and money
raised will benefit the quality of life of those undergoing
chemotherapy, through Chemo Comfort's ongoing outreach.

Chemo Comfort, an all-volunteer run organization, provides cancer patients with kits of products to help manage chemotherapy's side effects.

"Starting
chemotherapy is a frightening experience. We are saying to patients
'Her is a box of tools put together by someone who's been there. Know
that you are not alone and these tools will help you take care of
yourself during this difficult journey.' "
Anne Marie Paolucci, Founder
