Cops: 3 Tried to Rob Man at Gunpoint in West Hempstead
Man had pulled into his driveway and was exiting his car when three men approached him, cops said.

Thee men attempted to rob a West Hempstead man at gunpoint in the driveway of his home on Nightingale Road Wednesday night, according to Nassau County Police.
Detectives said the victim was just getting out of his car at 9:30 p.m. when he was approached by three men in dark hooded sweatshirts. One of the men had a gun, cops said.

Before the victim could hand over any of his belongings, a family member pulled into the driveway and caused the three to run, cops said.
Nothing was taken and no one was injured in the incident, police said.
