Cops: Man Caught on Camera Trying to Break into West Hempstead Home
Detectives released surveillance photo of man they believe tried to break into a home on Elm Street.

Nassau Detectives released a surveillance photo of a man they say tried to break into a West Hempstead home and two cars.
On Sept. 8 at 4:45 a.m., the subject was caught on camera on Elm Street and tried to break into a house, police said. With two other unidentified subjects, he also tried to break into two cars parked in the driveway, cops said.
Nothing was reportedly stolen. The pictured subject and his two accomplices fled the scene in an unknown direction.

Detectives are asking anyone with information to call Nassau County Crime Stoppers at 1-800-244-TIPS. All callers will remain anonymous.
