Great Summer Plans a short distance away from Lynbrook, NY
- Beaches- Spend a day at the beach, just a short drive from Lynbrook. Walk the boardwalk, catch some sun. Stop at Lynbrook Bagels on the way, grab some iced coffee and bagels to pack for the beach! There are plenty great beach clubs and public beaches located on the South Shore of Long Island.
- Fire Island- Drive out to the Marina and hop on the ferry to Fire Island. This is such a fun day trip. Shop, eat, and hangout by the beach.
- East End- Take a drive out to Sag Harbor, Montauk or the Hamptons for a fun day of shopping, great food and beautiful scenery!
- Visit Local Wineries and Breweries- Long Island/the 5 five boroughs have many wineries and breweries to visit which makes a great weekend fun-day!
- Street Fairs- Long Island has a ton of wonderful street fairs throughout the summer where you can shop local goods and food!
- Smorgasbourg- Head into Willamsburg, Brooklyn for one of the best outdoor markets, opening this year on March 31st! Taste fabulous foods from all over the local areas!
- See a baseball game- Hop on the L.I.R.R. to Willets Point, Citi Field and see the NY Mets play! Or take the subway to Yankee Stadium to see a Yankees Game.
- Concerts at Jones Beach- Jones Beach theater hold concerts throughout the summer! Awesome location to overlook the water and see a great show outside!
- New York City- NYC is a only a 35 minute ride from Lynbrook on the L.I.R.R. The City is full of things to do in the summer! Lots of rooftops, outdoor seating restaurants, parks and great sites to see!
- Great Food!- Lynbrook is located centrally around so many great food areas! Seafood is very popular here in the summertime so take advantage of the fresh seafood available!
