GoFundMe Campaign Launched to Help Family of Man Killed in Port Washington Hit-And-Run

A a gofundme campaign has been launched to raise money for Donald Mooney, the 49-year-old man who died several hours after he was struck in a hit-and-run on Main Street in Port Washington on Friday, Aug. 15.

Mooney, a Lynbrook resident, was working as a dispatcher at Delux Transportation in Port Washington.

The father of two children, “Don’s sudden and tragic passing has left an emotional and financial void in his family,” according to the gofundme campaign.
