Hassett, Canzoneri-Callahan Speak to Malverne Voters

The two candidates speak to residents through televised Candidates Night program.

Malverne village residents had the chance to hear from the two candidates who will be running in next week's election during a brief televised program that aired live Thursday night.

, of the Common Sense Party, and , of the Independent Party of Malverne, each were allotted seven minutes to prove to voters why they should be elected to serve the three years that remain of the late Jim Callahan's term on the village board.

The special election will take place on March 20 in the Malverne fire house located on Broadway. Polls will be open from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m.
