Heroin Dealer Arrested After Long Investigation: Police
The months-long investigation led police to a man they believe was selling heroin and crack cocaine.

After a months-long investigation, Nassau Police arrested an Elmont man for allegedly selling heroin and crack cocaine.
Detectives from the Narcotics/Vice Squad had been investigating the sale of heroin in Elmont since May 2017. The investigation led to the arrest of Shalik D. Robinson, 38, of Opal Street, at 4:45 p.m. Tuesday. Police say that when searching his home, they found substances believed to be heroin and crack cocaine, thousands of empty glassine wax bags, two digital scales and cash.
Robinson is charged with five counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance and one count of criminal sale of a controlled substance. He was arraigned in First District Court in Hempstead.
