Jan. 8: Jazz Quartet, Cooking Class, National Bubble Bath Day?

Lynbrook Patch has highlighted five things to know on Saturday and Sunday in an effort to help make your weekend better. From taking part in National Bubble Bath Day to seeing a jazz quartet at the Lynbrook library, there's something for everyone happening in the village this weekend.

Cooking Class

Head over to at 11 a.m. The Atlantic Avenue business is hosting a Dads and Daughters Cooking Class, during which participants will learn how to make a breakfast that includes sausage, peppers, potato frittata, gingerbread hotcakes with fresh applesauce, apple and toasted walnut salad, and ginger mini muffins.

All ages are welcome for the class, which runs from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.

Jazz Quartet

The Paul Joseph Quartet will play jazz selections at the Lynbrook Public Library at 2 p.m. This is a free event.

Gymnastics Workshop

Every Saturday, the Lynbrook Recreation Department holds a gymnastics workshop for boys and girls ages 6-12. Workshops are $75 per hour and are held at Marion Street Elementary School from 9-10:30 a.m.

National Bubble Bath Day
