It's almost time to cast your ballots.
On Nov. 8, residents in Malverne and West Hempstead will have the chance to vote for candidates for the Nassau County Legislature and Hempstead Town government.

The polls will be open Tuesday from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m. at the following locations in Malverne and West Hempstead:
- Howard T. Herber Middle School in Malverne
- Maurice W. Downing Primary School in Malverne
- West Hempstead Middle School
- West Hempstead Public Library
- West Hempstead Volunteer Fire Department
- Eagle Avenue School in West Hempstead
- Lakeview Public Library

Candidates
All residents will have the opportunity to vote for the positions of Hempstead Town Supervisor (), Clerk () and Receiver of Taxes ().
Residents in the Town of Hempstead's 3rd Councilmanic District, which includes all of Malverne and a portion of West Hempstead, can vote for either incumbent West Hempstead residents in the 2nd Councilmanic District can vote for either
In the race for the open seats in the Nassau County Legislature, Lakeview residents in District 2 will choose whether to re-elect while those in District 5 can vote for incumbent .
West Hempstead residents will choose between in the 8th legislative district and Malverne residents in the 6th district can vote for either incumbent
