Lynbrook Gearing Up for 10th Annual Fly with the Owls

Participants from across the tri-state area are gearing up to take their marks at the 10th Annual Fly with the Owls 4-Mile Run/Walk.

The event, scheduled for Nov. 15, will be held at North Middle School, located at 529 Merrick Road in Lynbrook.

The race features a four-mile course and will begin at 8:30 a.m. Prior to its start, a half-mile Fun Run for ages 12 and under will take place at 8 a.m. Special awards will be presented to finishers in a variety of categories. Fly with the Owls will also offer post-race refreshments, raffles and free massage/chiropractic amenities.

Fly with the Owls Inc. is a not-for-profit corporation whose mission is to support positive, productive activities for youth. Net proceeds will be used to assist a variety of youth programs and activities in the Village of Lynbrook and the Lynbrook School District.
