Lynbrook PBA Donates To Local Food Pantries

The donations were part of an annual campaign to give back to services in the neighborhood.

Members of the Lynbrook PBA stopped by two local food pantries on April 7 to drop off the organization's annual food donations for the Easter season. In doing so, the Lynbrook PBA hopes to raise awareness to how much help local food pantries provide to local residents.

"The food goes out as fast as it comes in,” said Deacon Rich Lorossa, leader of the St. Raymond's Parish Social Ministry. “You would be amazed at how many people need our help."

Sister Barbara Faber, leader of The Our Lady of Peace Parish Social Ministry, agreed and added, "We will take donations year round and they always go very quickly."
