Lynbrook Resident Named Director Of Urgent Care Organization

ROCKVILLE CENTRE, NY — A Lynbrook resident has been elected to the Board of Directors of Urgent Care Association (UCA).
Jackie McDevitt works for Rockville Centre-based Northwell Health-GoHealth Urgent Care.
In her role as director, McDevitt will help govern UCA —an organization of leaders, providers and suppliers in the field of consumer-focused healthcare.

She oversees the network's urgent care centers and its virtual platform in New York.
"I am honored to serve on the Board of Directors of Urgent Care Association. As the scope of urgent-care medicine rapidly evolves, I am proud to help ensure that practitioners provide the very best care for our communities," McDevitt said.

McDevitt has been a driving force in the center’s antibiotic stewardship initiatives and in triage-process streamlining and telehealth launch and oversight.
