Malverne Students Honor Veterans

Kathleen Smyth’s kindergarten class at Maurice W. Downing Primary School in the Malverne School District has been creating holiday cards to send to troops overseas.

In addition, the students have been making various crafts, which were used to decorate the Lynbrook VFW hall during a fundraiser event to benefit the Wounded Warriors program. Students are pictured creating their cards and crafts.
