MALVERNE, NY — A new era begins in the Village of Malverne as a street named for a Ku Klux Klan member gets renamed.

The Malverne Village Board voted unanimously last year to remove Lindner Place, named for Paul Lindner, a founding father of the village, who also was a Grand Cyclops in the KKK.
