Men wore masks and had gun when they broke into a home Tuesday afternoon, cops said.

Police are searching for two men who broke into an Elmont home Tuesday wearing masks and wielding a gun.

Nassau Detectives said a 26-year-old man had just exited his Froelich Place home at 2:55 p.m. when he was confronted by two men on the front stoop. Both men were wearing masks and one of them had a silver handgun, cops said.

The victim grabbed the gun and struggled with one of the men, eventually unmasking the subject. He then ran from the home to Elmont High School to call for help, cops said.
