• Nearly 5 tons of debris removed from Manhasset Bay (longislandpress.com) — Nearly five tons of debris were recently pulled from Manhasset Bay in a town-led cleanup, continuing a multi-year push to restore this key local waterway. Council Member Mariann Dalimonte also highlights an ongoing oyster-seeding program that has introduced more than five million juvenile oysters since 2019 to naturally improve water quality and reduce nitrogen levels.
