2 Men Robbed 2 Nassau Stores At Gunpoint And Attacked Employees
Police say they robbed two stores on different sides of the county in the same evening, stealing cash and scratch-off lotto tickets.

Nassau police are searching for two men who committed two armed and violent robberies on Thursday.
According to police, two men entered Jada's Luxury Beauty Supply, located at 488 Hempstead Turnpike in Elmont, at 6:18 p.m. The men approached a 37-year-old woman who was working there, and one of them pulled pulled out a handgun and demanded money. The woman refused, and the men started to repeatedly punch her in the face and stomach. They then fled the scene with cash.
The same two men later entered Modern Vape and Convenience Store, located at 1141 North Broadway in Massapequa, around 9:20 p.m. They approached the worker in the store, and again one of them pulled out a handgun. They demanded cash and lotto tickets. After a brief struggle, the victim gave in to the robbers' demands. They then fled the scene with cash and scratch-off lotto tickets.

The first robber was 20 to 30 years old, 6 feet, 1 inch tall, wearing a dark hooded jacket and a camouflage face mask. The second man, who was armed with the handgun, was also 20 to 30 years old, 5 feet, 6 inches tall, wearing a red snorkel jacket with a hood trimmed in brown fur and a dark mask.
Police ask anyone with information about these crimes to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-244-TIPS. All callers will remain anonymous, and you could receive a cash reward if your information leads to an arrest.
