3 Simple Tips to Improve Your Posture

Many people have bad posture for various reasons.  Sitting at a computer, on a couch, or aging can cause the shoulders to come forward.  Good posture allows the muscles, bones and internal organs to stay in their natural position.  You will breathe more easily and feel confident in your appearance.

Follow These 3 Easy Steps To Improve Your Posture

1.  Stretch the muscles in the front of the shoulder and chest.  Clasp your hands behind your back and hold for 5 to 10 seconds.  Relax for 5 seconds and repeat.

2.  Strengthen the muscles in the upper back.  Stand on the resistance band, lean forward with a flat back, pull the handles so your shoulder blades come together.  Repeat 8 to 12 times, take a rest for 30 seconds and repeat.

3.  Be aware of your posture when you are sitting, standing and walking.

You will get results when you consistently stretch your chest muscles, strengthen your back and stand straight and tall.  Practice these techniques at least 3 times a week for improving your posture and you will feel better about yourself.
