
Currently, there are two Kats in my limited world.
One, of course, is the beautiful young bride and devoted Granddaughter, who constantly makes my world brighter with her weekly phone calls and frequent visits.
The other amazing Kat is a valued member of the maintenance group that keep the residence I share in impeccable condition,

Today as the second of the impressive Kats, finished hanging the last of 8 framed NYT tear sheets, I repeated a story I had also told my Granddaughter.
It is a story of miracles and another (once young) woman who had two men, who barely knew each other, encourage her in a seemingly impossible dream.

She wanted to tell stories, and the odds of that coming true in that long ago day and age seemed remote.
However, as Kat hung the last of the framed bylines, I shared more memories of “The Magician”, my Dad, and Art, my beloved husband, who both believed I could do it. And with their help and encouragement, the “impossible dream” came true.
And I am eternally grateful not only for their belief in me, but the miracle of the time God allowed us to share.
And also, for the joy both Kats bring into my quite different world as the leaves turn and winter approaches..
