• New York welcomes 17 Forest Rangers following graduation (cnyhomepage.com) — Massapequa is represented in New York's newest class of Forest Rangers, with graduate Jack Caulfield among 17 officers completing six months of intensive wilderness and rescue training. These rangers will help protect millions of acres of public land statewide, handling search-and-rescue missions, wildfire response, and wildlife protection that ultimately benefits outdoor areas Long Islanders love to visit.
