Math Meets Gaming: Free Family Event with Mathnasium and Valhallan Esports

Mathnasium and Valhallan Esports Training are teaming up for "Math Meets Gaming," a hands-on afternoon for kids and families on Saturday, October 10, from 3 to 5 p.m. at Valhallan Esports Training, 3004 Merrick Road in Wantagh.

Kids will play math games led by Mathnasium instructors, then put those same skills to work in Minecraft and other esports games with Valhallan's coaches. Strategy, pattern recognition, and quick problem-solving are at the heart of both math and gaming, and this event lets kids see that connection firsthand while having fun.

The event is open to families with kids of all ages, and parents are welcome to stay, play, and meet the teams from both organizations. Space is limited, so registration is required.
