Massapequa UFSD Welcomes New Executive Director of Human Resources and General Administration

Dina Maggiacomo of Long Beach has joined the Massapequa School District, effective August 15, as Executive Director of Human Resources and General Administration.  She comes to the district after 11 years with Nassau BOCES where she held the position of Supervisor II, Title 9 Discrimination Coordinator for the Department of Human Resources.  In that role, she was mainly responsible for the implementation of teacher and occupational/physical therapy contracts.  Maggiacomo also has worked for the agency as a distance education coordinator and a professional developer.  She is a member of the Long Island and New York Associations for School Personnel Administrators, the International Society for Technology in Education and the Association for Supervision and Curriculum Development.
